Annalisa Furia, University of Bologna
Annalisa Furia received her Ph.D. in Hystory of Modern and Contemporary Political Thought from the University of Perugia in 2005. She is currently completing her two-year Research Fellowship (2010-2012), carrying out a research project investigating on 'From human development to human security: assumptions, contradictions and perspectives on the concept of human security'.
She has participated as researcher and member of the Scientific Coordination, in several national and EU funded projects for the protection and enhancement of migrants and refugees' rights. She collaborates with the Italian branch of the international NGO, Defence for Children International.
